salut les potes! ive decided to steal pictures from my roommate and others in order to give yall a little taste of st louis. my camera isnt functional so thats partly why im not giving you photos ive taken—but who am i kidding? i always end up stealing pics even if i have a working camera. so here they are, pictures of people and places and maybe ill even have time to explain them—but probably not bc uploading pictures takes forever on these computers!

my street in cité niack— i live down and to the right just before the footbal pitch.i dont know if it actually has a name, this street, but no streets really have names here, you just sort of tell your taxi a general region and they figure it out by your directions and descriptions of things in the area.

one reason not to be! (on a side note, this is about as many vegetables as i ever get in a day—my body is dying for some of those eight servings that its used to, but can never get here. hah) i am also an expert now at eating with my hands while kneeling on the floor—life skills, im telling you, life skills!
typical st louis housing, etc—notice the goats; theyre everywhere all the time in the roads with little kids screaming after them.
ok i am basically out of time here, so sorry i was only able to upload a few photos! im gonna put more cash on my phone which will be nice and other than that, nothing is particularly new here. looking forward to the weekend and doing my laundry, taking my guitar lesson and generally vegging out, but beyond that its all pretty much the same old same old at this point!
i miss you all terribly. next time i promise to put up gross pictures of scabies and boils and strange skin infections from the center;
