It’s alive!!!
This track is sort of a Frankenstienian production that came together over the past few days in three different cities—I picked the song on Tuesday in Atlanta and recorded the lead vocals and a little bit of guitar then sent it to Carly in Philly who added mandolin, more guitar, (fixed my awful tempo issues) and improvised some harmonies on Wednesday and then today I sent the track to Dace in Detroit who fixed a whole mess of issues with background noises and added this awesome dreamy feel to the whole thing…and now you get to hear it! I’m not sure what Dylan would say, but I absolutely love this song and wanted to get a version of it down for my Dad for father’s day. After all, he introduced me to Dylan in the first place!
